I recently had some time to view the area were Alexander Graham Bell spent his summers. So this quote very fitting as I have a few doors opening and I almost missed them because I was looking at the closed door. Remember, always seek the opportunity in every situation.

"Sometimes we stare so long at a door that is closing, that we see too late the one that is open."

Alexander Graham Bell

A master in the art of living draws no sharp distinction between his work and his play; his labor and his leisure; his mind and his body; his education and his recreation. He hardly knows which is which. He simply pursues his vision of excellence through whatever he is doing, and leaves others to determine weather he is working or playing. To himself, he always appears to be doing both.

- Francois Auguste René Chateaubriand

I found this quote in a book call "Let My People Go Surfing" by Yvon Chouinard and it sparked the philosophy of my life and business every since. I now work and play with the full intention on blurring the lines of each and always doing what I enjoy and do it to the level of excellence I would expect of others and of myself.

We often hear the words "Life is short" yet for many the fear, worry and doubt of life has them paralyzed with in-action. With the times as they seem to appear to many we must move forward and look to what we truly want for ourselves and our life and go get it.

That is how I spend my days, coaching and inspiring others to discover in themselves what they truly want and then to set action to achieving it.

What do you want? How do you blur the lines of work and play? Share your comments and inspire others to grow and enjoy this thing called life. Beacasue as the saying goes "Life is Short"!
