The Money We Make

“The money I have is in direct proportion to the value I’ve given to others. The more I give of myself, incredibly, the more economic power comes my way.”

Blur the Lines of Work and Play!

// February 25th, 2009 // 1 Comment » // Daily Insight

A master in the art of living draws no sharp distinction between his work and his play; his labor and his leisure; his mind and his body; his education and his recreation. He hardly knows which is which. He simply pursues his vision of excellence through whatever he is doing, and leaves others to determine weather he is working or playing. To himself, he always appears to be doing both.

- Francois Auguste René Chateaubriand

Matt blurring the Lines!

I found this quote in a book call “Let My People Go Surfing” by Yvon Chouinard and it sparked the philosophy of my life and business every since. I now work and play with the full intention on blurring the lines of each. I always do what I enjoy and do it to the level of excellence I would expect of others and of myself.

We often hear the words “Life is short” yet for many the fear, worry and doubt of life has them paralyzed with in-action. With the times as they seem to appear to many we must move forward and look to what we truly want for ourselves and our life and go get it.

That is how I spend my days, coaching and inspiring others to discover in themselves what they truly want and then to set action to achieving it.

What do you want? How do you blur the lines of work and play? Share your comments and inspire others to grow and enjoy this thing called life. Beacasue as the saying goes “Life is Short”!

Great People CreateGreat People Create
“The difference between great people and everyone else is that great people create their lives actively, while everyone else is created by their lives, passively waiting to see where life takes them next. The difference between the two is the difference between living fully and just existing.”
